Freedom empowers ordinary people to do extraordinary things, and that is what makes America an exceptional place. In order to open the possibility of a second American Century and unlock a new era of success, progress, and prosperity, we advance the American Free Enterprise Bill of Rights.
American Free Enterprise Bill of Rights
PRINCIPAL 7: The legal system must provide equal protection under the law.
1
A stable and reasonable legal structure that ensures equal rights before the law, enforces freely-entered-into contracts, voluntary exchange, encourages fair competition and consumer choice in which the government doesn’t pick winners and losers.
2
There should be a balance between protecting the intellectual property of entrepreneurs and entrenching big businesses.
3
The legal system should facilitate enforcement of valid contracts.
4
The legal system must not be abused by those seeking to artificially impose cost on competitors.
